The moonlight gleamed down upon the lagoon. The water rippled as a small current blew over head. It was a surprisingly clear night, five days out of the week there are roaring thunderstorms but not tonight. It was a perfect time for a stroll. The thick mangled vegetation suddenly parted and a dark mass sauntered forward. Her harks prickled in a alert manner, skull was held proudly upon broad shoulder blades. All the midnight creatures became silent, even the annoying crickets. They all disappeared into their shelter at her appearance. The same old smirk was stretched over blackened lips, it only changes when she is grinning which rarely happens. Long bushy plume was stiff above spine like aways, showing her dominance. Fangz had claimed this wasteland only a few moons ago and none have yet to dare cross her scent markers. That meant no members but it meant no trespassers as well. Soon she will travel away from home to seek out worthy, strong wolves. She was to lazy for having to make round trips over the whole realm each day. A waste of energy really, she could be out hunting now. However somebody needed to make sure there were no foolish intruders roaming around.
Icy sapphire optics gaze upwards, examining the dancing stars. Some say this was a amazing sight, beautiful in every way, not this bitch. She could truly careless, all she thought was gorgeous was darkness and death. She was quite wicked, her pack would probably be the darkest. She switched her cold stare across the lake towards the Southern lands. A brute owned it, his aroma was carried in the breeze. Deep within her mind she wished to meet him, search him for his weaknesses and strengths but also just to see what kind of "feelings" he had. Was he light, neutral or dark like her. If he was a pathetic light than she would waste no time in slaughtering him. She loathed caring and loving wolves. They were morons that need to be stripped from their worthless life. Like I said, she is a bitch.

Steele had been thinking about this for awhile now. To make his pack stronger he was going to need an ally, well at least until they were of no use anymore, and he needed a like minded canine. One who wasn't too good to get their paws dirty in blood yet one who wouldn't turn around and bite him in the back later on. He had met one Alpha so far and he seemed too noble for what might be needed. The grey male hadn't been fortunate, or unfortunate as it may be, to meet the Western leader yet and was only left with the option of allying with the Eastern pack. His spies, scouts he corrected himself with a grin, had told him that it was a female that held the Leadership role. The two that had returned seemed scared out of their wits and needed to be, well, relieved of their duties permanently. Steele didn't view himself as evil when he had to clear away these fallen soldiers as if they were simply dead leaves. No he was honoring their former strong memories and do what was necessary to make his pack stronger. Surely the slaughtered would understand his reasons and those who lived in his pack never uttered a disrespectful word against the grey male's actions. But in the forest, well some viewed him as a demon while others viewed him as a crazy canine. All knew of his joy of fighting both verbally and physically though he truly enjoyed manipulating others to do his work for him.
As he made his way to the Eastern border from the Neutral lands he stopped. Steele was about to let his presence be known when an idea struck him. With a grin he turned around and went on a small hunt. It was always nice to bring a gift when one went visiting right? Luck was with the "demon" as a lazy hare was munching on grass a few yards down wind. It was a short chase that ended as the canine being the victor. With his prize in his mouth he went back to the border of the Eastern Pack and laid his catch down. He gave a howl to let the Alphess know he was there before he stepped forth into her area. He wanted to talk to her but he wasn't about to cross her scent trail without an invitation from the female herself. Before he had finished off his scouts, yes that does sound better, they had told of her own dark nature so Steele had already planned things out in his mind so he could leave this encounter with his fur intact.

A stranger's melody echoed around the resting femme. Without even waiting to respond, she was swiftly galloping through the timbers, wavering and leaping around obstacle that laid in her path. What did this intruder want? Hackles prickled down spine with annoyance yet slight excitement. Pace was slowed to a steady jog, she was getting closer. Nostrils inhaled the cool oxygen, a brute's aroma was caught plus fresh blood. Pink salmon swiped over black jowls as if she could already taste the sweet crimson. Was this male injured and was seeking help? No, only a moron would try to come to her with a problem. She sniffed again, now detecting a hare. A sly grin casted over her mask with amusement. How cute, he brought her a present. Giant paws carry the bitch into the opening. Optics narrow to send a unwelcoming glower towards the visitor. Plume straightened upwards, stained canines braced in a clear warning. "Who are you and what is your business here?" Vocals rasp in a harsh cold tone. Fangz wasn't the most pleasant females to meet. She examined him closely, noting each detailed feature. He was quite handsome plus by his fragrance and how he held himself, it was easy to see that he was in fact a alpha. Muscles become slightly relaxed, haunches once more lower to the forest floor. The moon's light shinned upon her. Ebony pelt gleaming with beauty, sapphire vision lit up like dancing flames of fire. She looked so graceful and perfected in the night light. Not one flaw could be sighted because well she didn't have one. Harks motion forward awaiting his reply.

Steele watched her come to the border and a smirk came across his muzzle. If he were here for a simple mating session he mght have been truly excited yet business before pleasure. Plus, as crude and cruel as he was he wouldnt stoop to try and mount a female who hadnt offered herself. But again, business before pleasure. The male took a step back and sat down toshow that he wasnt about to attack her. He glanced around lazily as if he was bored but was really looking for alternatives should he need to fight. He was sure to keep every bit of his fur in the Central area so not to give any impression of dominance. However, due to his ego, he refused to cower before even this strong and fearsome female.
"I hope you dont think me rude but I had hoped to meet such a vision of loveliness on this fine night." Okay he was being sticky sweet and assumed the Alphess could see through such talk. Yet to come right out and state he wanted to join togethor to over throw the other two packs seemed just so, well forward.
"May I offer you something to eat? Sorry that it is only a morsel but what else could a mere mutt like myself offer you?" he grinned as he wrapped his tail around him. He didnt lock eyes with her but instead continued to scan her and the area around them.

Fangz couldn't hold back a grin at his charming chords. He was a sweet talker huh? Well she was impressed by his humor yet that didn't mean to much on her scale but he got at least a few points. Harks flicker back and forth, brow arched with interest. What did he truly want? He didn't just come to chit chat, something was on his mind. A plan maybe? The femme favored secret plots. Now that the thought crossed her witty mind, it would be a great time for a bit of mischief. She ambled forward, coming only inches from the brute. His hot breath was felt upon her flesh making a tiny shiver race down her back. Jowls suddenly snap up the carcass of the hare. A steady gaze was sent straight into his own vision. A step was taken back before she dropped the prize. "You have half, but I call the front." She hissed in playful manner. If he wanted to flirt than might as well offer a few comments of teasing back. "Now may I be so bold to ask what sort of plan was stirring within your little head?" She had read his mind, not like a book but simply by his emotions painted upon his mask. He was in thought, trying to figure out a way to bring it up but she had beat him to it. A sly wicked smirk tugged at her lips. Skull tilted to the right questionably.

As the female came close, oh so close, to him he immediately became a bit defensive and protective of himself but he stayed calm. After all if she had wanted to attack him he figured a smarter move for her would have been to ambush him. So he kept still and relaxed with his usual air of confidence. Her scent held an interesting aroma and he couldnt remember the last time anyone had dared come into his "personal space". How strange it felt for that moment, he would have to think on it later since there were other things that needed to be focused on right now.
As the carcass of the hare dropped to the ground he snatched it casually and snapped off the leg. He enjoyed just chewing on the bone and thought it a good idea to leave more of the meat for the female should she decide she was still hungry. Steele liked that she was right to the point and decided not to keep her waiting.
"You are quite perceptive. I do indeed have something to speak to you about and I believe it could benefit both of our packs." He cracked open the bone he was chewing on and began to suck out the marrow. "I have met with the Alpha of Southern Pack and he doesnt seem like a creature who could enjoy my, well, creative ideas. And the Alphess of Western pack and I..." he trailed off as a scowl came across his face and he he finished eating the bone with a sharp snap of his jaws. "Let's just say I would rather not deal with her."
Steele grapped the other leg, snapped it off and went to chewing on it. "So I have plans to break down those other packs while making our's stronger. Im thinking about plans such as sneaking in to packlands and slicing warriors throats while the sleep, stealing pups to raise as future warriors of our own, and whatever else may come to mind." He gave a toothy grin that showed his sharp stained teeth and a sparkle of mischief shone in his eyes.

She noticed his slightly amazed glaze enter his vision as if he couldn't believe how she crossed his bubble without even a second thought. Fangz was good at catching others off guard, doing things that most fear. The femme was a daring, untouchable kind of wolf. Giant jowls grip the hare's skull, one forceful swing of her own powerful skull decapitated the decreased creature. Bodice dropped fully, one paw pinned down the body part as canines remove the fur leaving just the scalp to chew on. The disturbing sound of grinding teeth against bone was heard. During this she listened closely to Steele's words, letting them mingle within her brain. She was correct about what he seeked from her. "I agree, why waste any land on weak unworthy packs? First we will need to search for more members to double our pack size, making sure we have no flaws. Train them for battle, sharpening their skills. We will keep in touch to come up with a solid plan on slaughtering the fools." She replied without any pause as if she had already thought of all that needed to be done. "This means you, only you, have a pass through my realm at any time in which you want to speak with little old me,no need to give any warning howl of your presents, I will already know of your visit, my nose is quite good at alerting me. " She gave a full responds to the brute, not leaving any comment or detail out. Perhaps she would travel around the full wasteland to meet with this other alphas. She would put on a fake mask, acting like she meant please but really was searching them for their strengths and weaknesses. With both her and his pack they would easily kill off the packs, one member at a time.

He watched her devour the hare and listened to her words. It seemed that she was in the same mind as he was so there was no need to really waste any more of her or his time. Yes the two of them togethor would indeed end up owning this island. It wa going to be either follow them or say "adios" to tis mortal coil.
"I am honored to be allowed in your area for business discussions and I extent the same offer to you as well. I will warn my pack that you are to come to no harm." a chuckle escaped his muzzle and his tongue lolled out of his mouth as he added, "Of course your reputation precedes you dark mistress so anyone fool enough to cross you would deserve whatever punishment you seemed fit to give." Yes more flattery mixed with truth. Unfortunately she was right at the size of the packs as it seemed there were more loners on the land than those who had sworn allegiance to a pack. He didnt really mind the loners as a whole as long as they paid their respect to his pack when on his lands.
"Perhaps we could use an unknowing ally as well. The loners here have no alliance to any one pack and as such could be used for information or simple tasks if we deem necessary. At the moment their numbers are the greatest and it seems to me we need to put that to our advantage." The mischievous grin stayed on his face as his mind continued to work. A muscle spasm in his back leg caused him to get up and stretch his body. He moved a little closer to the Alphess though he still stayed out of her personal space. One could never be too sure who was listening so he didnt want to have to raisehis voice too much for fear of being heard by the wrong pup.

I shall walk through the valley of death, I shall fear no evil.. for in me it exists
All the brute's ideas were quite bright and easily accepted. Massive skull gave a silent nod of thanks as she gained permission to enter his own territory. Having to search for members felt almost wrong to the she-devil, they should come to her! Why weren't there many other canines that roamed in this area? Damn it, she loathed being so low, attempting to find warriors. The plan however would surely fail without more sets of jaws and claws. " Shall we travel solo to speak with the lone rebels so more distance will be covered or together in a stronger unit to show we mean clear business?" Her volume level was low as if someone was spying on them even though that was impossible for her sense told her all was calm. She stood, stretching out each limb one at a time, letting her knees crack as if she had been laying down for days. It was mainly a habit. She began to pace back and forth. She wasn't nervous or excited but suddenly restless. Fangz was aways moving unless in a deep sleep in which she would twitch and growl, her dreams carried only battle images telling of the dark, cruel past, well really the past of others that some how bumped into her path.
Motioning bodice paused in front of Steele. She stared at him blankly as if looking right through him, like he was merely a lost spirit. " I want to take down the hag's pack first." She suddenly hissed coldly. Fangz hated others of the same sex and was already annoyed about her presents. Any females worthy enough to join her pack were welcomed but to know one was the leader of the Western area kind of crawl under her pelt like a flea. She went back to pacing.

Perhaps a smarter, or was the term 'saner' more appropriate, wolf would have been unnerved by her pacing but Steele just watched her. Part of him was mesmerized by her form, the flow of her fur, and even that sparkle of evil in her eyes. Was this demoness placing a spell of her own on him? No surely none would ever dare try, it was all business, and he just lost in the moment of planning. Yes that's what he told himself as he continued to watch and listen to her words.
"Yes approaching the loners seperately would be a better plan as togethor..." he trailed off as he had to laugh at the image in his head. What a sight the two could make. The two most powerful beasts on this infernal land mowing down their enemies, causing others to quake in fear, and ruling the strongest of all the island's canines. He couldnt help but give a toothy grin as he almost leapt like a greedy little pup at the thought. At the mention of his old adversary his mood shifted.
"I want to be there to see that beast die." he said through closed teeth drawn up in a sneer. "How you kill her, how you destroy her piece by piece, I will let myself be suprised. But I wont deny you that joy." a grin was once again on his muzzle as he scratched under his chin as an idea came to his mind.
"If we could poison their food and water without effecting our own warriors. Watch them wither and twist without even laying a paw on them." he shrugged before continueing "But then again whats the fun in that?"

Skull nodded once more at his reply. Many loners would spook into the thicket at the pair stalking in the shadows. She would have to approach them proudly yet not showing any hostile features. Fangz padded towards a worn out path that lead back to the heart of her land. She paused, " We shall spy on them in the darkness, once one of them travels away from the group we either rip their life from them quickly or tear the voice box out and drag them to our pack to keep as slaves. Leave the alphas for last, for we shall fight them as equals for at least some hard work." She grunted before she said farewell, lunging back into the woods. Bodice gracefully loping around logs and rocks. She was at perfect tune with her surroundings, massive paws barely touching the soil so no imprints are left. Brushy plume steaming behind her like a ribbon of smoke. A small harmony was released as she motioned onwards, promising that they would meet again.

Steele had to admit it, he liked how she thought, he chuckled to himself. The grey male watched her make her way back to wherever it was she needed/wanted to be. If one didnt watch her closely she would have been hard to follow. As it was the male had a hard time keeping track of her until she had melted into the forest. Even after she was gone he stood there for a time until he gave a cotented howl that had an eerie echo to it at the end. With one last look he turned back to his own land to see what other "trouble" he could get in to.
