On a large island within the Bermuda Triangle lives four packs of wolves unknown to man. This island hides them and their unusual forms. Somehow these wolves developed the ability to shift from wolf to man and vice versa. Some believe that a shipment of wolves tested on in science labs crashed here and the humans were killed, to leave the wolves to fend for themselves. This is the most plausible reason for this amazing ability, but then why isn't there other things wrong with the wolves? They're all normal save for that changing ability. Maybe they were stranded on that island from the time the great Pangaea split the world into continents. Who knows? They just know they all live and thrive there, content with the area.
The human forms have no rhyme or reason to the ethnicity each wolf is. Parents who are caucasian in ethnicity may have a child/children who are Asian in looks while parents who are African in ethnicity may have a child/children that's Spanish in looks. It's yet another weird trait of the wolves on this island.
As spoken there are four packs on this large island: the Northern, the Southern, the Eastern, and the Western. Aside from them all there is the central area where loners reside away from these packs. All of these wolves live in harmony with each other, with little disputes here and there that is to be expected. The population is small and stable here on the island, prey is abundant; it's almost like a small paradise so to speak. Somehow there are quite the many different species of wolves too. Tundra Wolves, Grey Wolves, Timber Wolves, any wolf you could think of lives here. Even ones such as the Ethiopian Wolf. It's practically amazing that they all haven't become one species by now. Maybe it's because of the different climates on the island. It's such a big place there are snowy mountains, desolate plains, and lush forests and grasslands.
Despite all those things humans are not tolerated here. As you know the Bermuda Triangle is known for not letting planes and ships through, so a lot crash into the water or sink, the humans aboard them swim to get on this island. One set of humans even lived here long enough to build a cabin in the Southern Pack's range, but once their presence became known they were eliminated almost immediately by the Southern Pack. It's the one rule all packs abide by and agree on. Humans are not to be allowed here. It keeps them all safe and protected from the outside world's scrutiny.
Lately, though, the air has been growing tense through the packs. The alphas are more quick to launch attacks on each other and fight to the death. What's the reason for this? Everything is as normal and normal can be here. Is there something coming? A disaster only the alphas can predict? No one, not even the alphas, know the answer to this just yet.
